![]() Windows device manager now lists an "ethernet connection" in the "Other devices" category (not network adaptors) as if it doesn't know what to do with it. ![]() The ethernet driver is now no longer recognizable, it seems. I am having a similar issue, except mine was working well for 1 day, but died the next day and has not come to life since. Personally (z170-a mobo) I haven't had any luck with any voodoo solutions (fiddling around with settings that logically should not have any effect in the outcome) or with any updates (the only one I haven't tried yet is the newest beta bios) Instead of asking for general troubleshooting help, this post is more towards to people with the issue, or anyone with an update or information on the matter - for myself and anyone having the same issue (Code 10) The requested operation was unsuccessful. Gives me error (device manager): This device cannot start. The issue I'm having is that the ethernet adapter wont start. ![]() I sometimes get a connection (on boot up) and it works perfectly but mostly i get no connection and from (windows) troubleshooting i receive the message: The Intel(R) Ethernet Connection (2) l219-V adapter is experiencing driver- or hardware-related problems
